Nobody is talking about how absolutely screwed the electric grid in the US is right now, there's a massive transformer shortage, both at distribution and transmission levels. Even losing a few in a concentrated area will create power outages for months on end.

It all comes down to how transformers are manufactured, the cores that they use are either grain oriented steel or amorphous steel. grain oriented is all made outside of the US and it's less efficient so the DOE wants to switch to amorphous so we can avoid a disaster.

Patrick talks about the precinct captains have a right to REQUIRE a HAND COUNT. After the ballots have ran through the machines (before the precinct captains sign a certification for the results). If they don't match don't sign to certify the results.
